The bluestripe snapper is recognisable by its bright yellow body barred with four blue lines. It forms large schools that rest by day near drop-offs. It hunts small fish and crustaceans at night.

Did you know?

In Tahitian it is called taʻape. A pretty yellow and blue fish seen in schools on many dives.
