The silvertip shark has white-edged fins and a white line along its flanks. Bigger and more curious than the grey reef shark, it readily approaches divers and likes the clear water of the outer slopes. It feeds on fish and octopus.

Did you know?

Divers nickname it « silvertip ». It is mostly seen on the outer slope near passes, more rarely inside the lagoon itself.
