The regal angelfish is striped with orange and electric blue bands, with a yellow tail. Shy, it takes refuge in reef crevices at the slightest alarm and stays close to its hiding place. It feeds on sponges.
Did you know?
In Tahitian it is also called paraharaha, like other angelfish. Its appearance is so spectacular that it is nicknamed « regal ».
